Terms of Service Agreement

Welcome to highvoltagetire.ca. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking our mobile services or purchasing products. By scheduling a service or submitting a payment, you agree to be bound by the conditions outlined below.

High Voltage Tire is a specialized service brand for electric vehicles operated by Sparky X Mobile Tire Shop. All contracts, transactions, and service commitments are under the corporate operational oversight of Sparky X Mobile Tire Shop.

1. Service Area

We proudly provide mobile tire services to the following locations, listed in alphabetical order:

  • Ajax

  • Bowmanville

  • Courtice

  • Markham

  • Oshawa

  • Pickering

  • Richmond Hill

  • Thornhill

  • Toronto (Strictly excluding Downtown Toronto and Etobicoke)

  • Whitby & Brooklin

2. Booking, Scheduling & Payments

  • Upfront Payments: All tire purchases must be paid upfront. Payments are processed securely via Credit Card/Stripe through our TireConnect widget or via E-Transfer before the service dispatch.

  • Scheduling Adjustments: Booking a time slot online does not guarantee that specific exact time. All appointments are subject to routing changes and environmental adjustments, and our team will contact you directly to finalize and confirm your service window.

  • Fixed Pricing: All advertised prices are final, subject to applicable taxes, and strictly non-negotiable.

  • Cancellation & No-Show Fee: If you fail to appear for your scheduled appointment or do not have the vehicle ready at the designated time, a $50.00 + tax No-Show Fee will be billed automatically.

3. On-Site Work Environment & Vehicle Safety Requirements

  • Workplace Clearance: Technicians require a flat, smooth workspace with a minimum of 5 feet of clearance all around the vehicle to operate commercial heavy-duty lifting gear safely.

  • Prohibited Areas: We strictly do not perform any tire services on public city streets due to municipal safety by-laws and GTA parking restrictions.

  • Service Vehicle Parking: The customer must ensure a legal parking space is available for our mobile service unit within a maximum of 20 feet from your driveway/vehicle.

  • Parking Fees & Citations: If legal or free parking is not available near the workspace, the customer assumes full financial responsibility for any parking fees, parking meter charges, or municipal tickets/fines incurred by the service vehicle during the appointment.

  • Vehicle Preparation (Liability Disclaimer): To limit liability, customers are solely responsible for shuffling secondary vehicles, maneuvering cars, and pulling them out of personal garages prior to the technician’s arrival. High Voltage Tire staff will not drive client vehicles.

  • Bystander Safety: For safety and liability reasons, children and pets are strictly prohibited from entering the active service perimeter while tools and high-capacity jacks are in use.

4. Seasonal Tire Material & Tire Handling Rules

For appointments involving seasonal changes, storage retrievals, or swapovers, the following strict limits apply:

  • Distance & Placement Limits: Tires or wheels to be mounted must be stacked directly on the ground or placed on properly installed wall-mounted tire racks no higher than 5 feet from the ground, located a maximum of 50 feet away from the vehicle.

  • Retrieval Exclusions: For technician safety, we do not haul, carry, or retrieve tires or wheel sets from basements, attics, or exterior sheds that exceed the 50-foot distance threshold.

  • Cluttered Garages: If wheels are stored inside a garage filled with clutter or miscellaneous storage, the customer must completely clear a clean walkway and remove all items stacked on top of the tires prior to our arrival.

  • Used Tire Restrictions: We strictly do not mount or install tires purchased second-hand from Facebook Marketplace, anonymous digital classified sites, or unverified used tire shops.

5. Condominium & Underground Garage Limitations

  • Service Restrictions: Our heavy-duty mobile service trailers cannot enter or clear underground condominium parking garages due to strict height limitations.

  • Permitted Underground Services: We can only perform On-Rim seasonal tire swaps and puncture repairs inside underground condo structures, utilizing portable support gear. Off-rim structural mounting and heavy computer spin balancing cannot be executed underground.

6. Severe Winter & Weather Policies

  • Site Preparation Required: On snowy or icy days, the customer must fully clear the driveway and work perimeter of snow, ice, and safety hazards, and apply salt before the technician arrives.

  • Neglect Surcharges: If our team arrives and the site has not been properly prepped, additional service charges will apply for the manual labor required for our technician to safely clear, de-ice, and treat the active work zone.

7. Mechanical Damage & Wear/Tear Disclaimers

  • Pre-existing Failure: High Voltage Tire and Sparky X Mobile Tire Shop assume no responsibility or financial liability for broken lug nuts, fractured wheel bolts, sheared/stripped wheel locks, or snapped wheel studs.

  • Cause Allocation: These failures are typically caused by deep structural metal fatigue, normal environmental wear and tear, rust seizing, or previous improper high-impact installation executed by prior service providers.

8. Post-Service Wheel Re-Torque

  • Re-Torque Fee: Following a wheel swap, safety guidelines dictate that lug nuts be checked after driving. We offer a dedicated mobile wheel re-torque service for a flat fee of $75.00 + tax.

  • Scheduling: This follow-up service is contingent entirely upon local technician availability and standard dispatch routing schedules.
